Socioncis Basics step 3: Functions

1 — Lead

Strong

Valued

The Lead function is the core of the mindset, it is the primary viewpoint of a type. The aspect in this function is the information that is always noticed, and information of this Information Element is almost constantly generated.

2 — Creative

Strong

Valued

Creative aspect supports the Lead one. It is the way the Lead one is transmitted. The type of information in this function is always noticed, and often though not constantly generated.

3 — Role

Weak

Unvalued

The Role function doesn’t manifest itself too often and most of the time information received by the Role aspect is perceived as disgusting and repulsive. But when the information does get through, it gets distorted. It means that it reads the information inadequately and partially. Sometimes it also means that role can be “too sure of itself” - when a person ventures into something requiring the use of the Role and ends up losing all control over the situation.

4 — Vulnerable

Weak

Unvalued

The Vulernable is the blind spot of the type. The information of the aspect in this function is not comprehensible for the type, it is not noticed and therefore never generated. The information of the aspect in the Vulnerable however can be learned and remembered as a rigid pattern of behaviour and replicated precisely without generating or observing any new information and therefore often out of place.

5 — Suggestive

Weak

Valued

The aspect that is in the Suggestive function is the kind of information the type hopes and wishes to receive – it is also the Lead aspect of the type’s Dual.

Note: This function can be developed or deteriorate at the expense of Ignoring

6 — Mobilizing

Weak

Valued

The aspect in this function represents the form in which the type wants to receive the information in the Suggestive function, it can be said that it defines the variant of the aspect in the Suggestive.

Note: This function can be developed or deteriorate at the expense of Demonstrative

7 — Ignoring

Strong

Unvalued

This aspect is perceived as something easy to understand but pointless and primitive.

Note: This function can be developed or deteriorate at the expense of Suggestive

8 — Demonstrative

Strong

Unvalued

The aspect in this function corresponds to the Vulnerable function of the Dual, therefore the information coming into this aspect gets deflected to one of the functions holding the valued aspects.

Note: This function can be developed or deteriorate at the expense of Mobilizing
